History - From 1891 to Today

King's House School History

King's House School is an established educational institution founded in 1891 at 35 King Street in Luton, England. The school provides education that promotes high standards of behavior, achievement, and respect with a tradition-based educational understanding.

The school moved to a large property called "Moorlands" on Dunstable Road in 1926, and in 1958 moved to Leagrave Hall (part of the old Leagrave Manor) to its current location. Throughout its over 130 years of history, King's House School has developed an educational philosophy that enables students to reach their potential with small classes in a safe and happy environment.

The school is known for its friendly and family atmosphere, offering education that centers on the development of each child's individual talents and interests. İzmir King's House International brings this established tradition and educational philosophy to İzmir, providing our students with education at the same quality standards.

IGCSE Program

Pearson Edexcel IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) offers our students a wide range of subjects. This program develops students' fundamental academic skills while preparing them for A-Level or AP programs. IGCSE is a certificate recognized worldwide and serves as an important reference in university applications.

A-Level Program

The Pearson Edexcel A-Level program is the gold standard of the British education system. Our students achieve the high-level academic qualifications required for world universities by specializing deeply in their target fields (Medicine, Engineering, Business, etc.). They create a flexible and strong academic profile with the modular exam system.

AP-SAT Program

The Advanced Placement (AP) program offers our students the opportunity to take university-level courses.
