Admissions

Information about the application process, documents, evaluation, and orientation.

After filling out the online application form, we ask you to share academic documents and references about the student. After documents are evaluated, a student interview and evaluation day is scheduled. Our admissions team informs you at every step of the process.
Students aged 3-5 for Preschool, 6-10 for Primary School, 11-14 for Middle School, and 15-18 for High School can apply. Age calculation is based on September 1st. For special circumstances, you can contact our admissions office.
Early registration period is usually between January-March. Normal registration period continues between April-August. Applications may be accepted throughout the year depending on availability. For current dates, you can contact our admissions office.
Yes, an application evaluation fee is charged. This fee covers the processing and evaluation costs of the application process. The fee amount may vary by level. For detailed information, you can contact our admissions office.
After the application and evaluation process is completed, the result is usually notified to parents via email and phone within 7-10 business days. During busy periods, this time may extend up to 2 weeks. For urgent situations, you can contact our admissions office.
Yes, you can apply again for the next academic year. You can receive feedback about your previous application's evaluation results and areas for development. Additionally, you may be placed on a waiting list if a spot becomes available.

Documents

Required documents for application and preparation process.

Report cards or transcripts from the last two years, student's ID or passport copy, two teacher reference letters (for middle school and high school), health report and vaccination records are required. For preschool levels, a development report is sufficient.
You can upload documents through our online application system or send them to our admissions office via email. Original documents may be requested during evaluation. It is important that documents are in PDF format and in readable quality.
Yes, but notarized Turkish or English translation of documents in foreign languages is required. It is important that translations are made by a reliable translator or translation agency. Original documents must also be submitted.
For middle school and high school applications, a reference letter from the student's current school's class teacher or subject teacher is required. For preschool and primary school, a development report from the previous school or nursery is sufficient. Reference letters should be written on official school letterhead.
In case of missing documents, our admissions team will contact you and inform you of the deficiencies. You are given additional time to complete the documents. Applications cannot be evaluated until all documents are completed. For urgent situations, you can contact our admissions office.
The health report should be provided by the student's family doctor or pediatrician. The report should indicate the student's general health status, presence of chronic diseases, special health needs, and vaccination records. The report must have been obtained within the last 3 months.

Evaluation

Student evaluation process and criteria.

Academic level tests according to grade level, English language proficiency assessment, and guidance interviews are conducted. The student's adaptation to school culture, communication skills, and motivation are evaluated. Play-based observations are applied in primary school levels.
Academic evaluation tests are applied from Primary Year 2 onwards. Play-based observations are made for Preschool and Year 1. Tests are necessary to measure the student's current academic level and make appropriate class placement. Alternative evaluation methods can be applied for special circumstances.
The English proficiency test measures listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills appropriate to the student's age group. Test duration varies between 30-60 minutes depending on the level. Appropriate evaluation is also made for beginner level students and additional support programs are recommended if necessary.
Evaluation results are shared in detail during one-on-one meetings with parents. Feedback is given about the student's strengths and areas for development. The admission decision is officially notified via email and phone. Results are protected within the framework of confidentiality principles.
An individualized evaluation process is applied for students with special educational needs. Our Guidance and Psychological Counseling unit determines the student's needs and prepares appropriate support plans. Detailed information is provided about the supports our school can provide.
The evaluation fee is included in the application fee. A separate evaluation fee is not charged. However, additional fees may be requested in special cases where additional evaluation or expert opinion is required. This situation is notified to parents in advance.

Fees and Payment

Information about tuition fees and payment plans.

Current tuition fees and payment plans are announced by our admissions office each year. Early registration advantages that vary according to level and registration date are offered. You can request the detailed table via email or visit our school for a one-on-one consultation.
Tuition fees include course materials, library use, basic laboratory supplies, and school activities. Meals, transportation, school trips, private lessons, and some club activities are subject to additional fees. A detailed list can be obtained from our admissions office.
Lump sum payment, 2 installments, 4 installments, and 9 installments are available. Additional discount is applied for lump sum payment for parents who register early. Installment plans are arranged within the framework of bank credit or agreement with the school. For details, you can contact our finance department.
Yes, a sibling discount is applied when more than one student from the same family enrolls. A 10% discount is provided for the second child, and 15% discount for the third and subsequent children. The discount is calculated on the lowest fee student. This discount can be combined with other discounts.
Tuition fees are determined annually but monthly payments can be made with installment options. Additional discount is applied for lump sum payment. The annual fee is valid throughout the academic year (September-June). Summer school and special programs are charged separately.
In case of payment delays, our finance department first contacts parents and seeks solutions. Flexible payment plans may be offered for temporary financial difficulties. Scholarships and Financial Aid

Scholarship opportunities and financial aid programs.

Partial scholarships are offered for students who demonstrate outstanding performance in academic achievement, arts, and sports. Student portfolios, reference letters, and achievement certificates are evaluated in scholarship applications. Our financial aid programs are shaped according to income declaration.
Scholarship application can be made together with the registration application or after registration. Application form, student portfolio, achievement certificates, reference letters, and income declaration documents are required. The scholarship committee evaluates applications and results are notified in writing.
Scholarship rates vary between 10% and 50% according to achievement level and financial situation. Full scholarships are given in very rare cases. Scholarships are re-evaluated each academic year and continue or are cancelled according to the student's academic performance.
Scholarships are usually given for one academic year and re-evaluated each year. The student's academic success, behavior, and compliance with school rules are important for the continuation of the scholarship. Scholarship duration can be extended for students showing outstanding performance.
There are certain income criteria for financial aid programs. Income declaration, number of family members, and special circumstances are taken into evaluation. Yes, the scholarship can be cancelled if the student's academic performance decreases, there are discipline problems, or non-compliance with school rules. However, students and parents are consulted beforehand and given an opportunity for improvement. The scholarship cancellation decision is made by the scholarship committee.

International Students

Application processes and requirements from abroad.

Yes. International students can complete their applications through online interviews and digital evaluation methods. Documents must be in English or Turkish and notarized translations must be submitted. We provide guidance for residence procedures after admission.
Yes, we provide guidance for visa and residence permit processes for accepted international students. Support is provided for preparing required documents, application processes, and follow-up. However, official procedures are the responsibility of students and parents.
An intensive Turkish preparation program is offered for students without Turkish proficiency. Additionally, English support programs and cultural adaptation activities are organized. An individual support plan is prepared for each student and a mentor is assigned.
Currently, there is no dormitory accommodation at our school. However, we provide guidance for reliable homestay accommodation options. Recommendations are provided for student and parent accommodation needs and necessary connections are established.

Orientation

Post-registration orientation process and adaptation programs.

After registration is completed, information sessions are organized for students and parents. Course schedule is planned with an academic advisor, campus tour is conducted, and club selections are made. We have a mentor support program for new students.
The orientation program usually lasts 1-2 weeks. The first week includes intensive introduction and adaptation activities, while the second week includes transition to academic programs and support sessions. An accelerated orientation program is applied for students registering mid-year.
The mentor program is a support system where experienced students accompany new students. Each new student is assigned a mentor who provides guidance on school life, academic programs, and social adaptation. The program continues throughout the first term.

Academics

Information about academic programs, curriculum, and our educational approach.

We offer Pearson Edexcel International, IB (International Baccalaureate), and COBIS accredited programs from preschool to high school. EYFS is implemented in Preschool, Pearson Edexcel Primary and IGCSE in Primary and Middle School, and IB Diploma and A Level programs in High School.
The IB program is holistic, inquiry-based, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) focused. The Pearson Edexcel program is more traditional, exam-focused, and provides university preparation with A Level. Both programs have international recognition. Our students can choose programs according to their own goals.
Turkish and English are taught with equal weight in our bilingual education model. English language development is supported from preschool. Additionally, third language options (German, French, Spanish) are offered in middle school and high school. All academic courses are taught in English and Turkish.
Individualized support plans are prepared for each student. Additional lessons, homework support, exam preparation programs, and expert support services are offered for students with special educational needs. Yes, comprehensive university counseling service is offered for our high school students. Maximum 16 students in Preschool, maximum 20 in Primary and Middle School, and maximum 22 in High School. Thanks to small class sizes, individual attention is shown to each student and the learning experience is personalized.

Özkaya KHS was established within Oğuzhan Özkaya Education Institutions with a modern educational understanding. Our school is designed to provide education at international standards and operates with a philosophy of continuous development.

Workshops

Information about workshop programs, clubs, and extracurricular activities.

We have Robotics & Software, Beekeeping, Woodworking & Maker, Equestrian, Ecological Agriculture, Folk Dance, Aviation, Kids Nook Storytelling, Media & Digital Content, Chemistry of Cooking, Ceramics & Textile workshops. Each workshop is conducted with expert instructors.
Participation in workshops is not mandatory, but it is recommended that our students participate in at least one workshop. Workshops offer important opportunities for students to discover their interests, develop new skills, and establish social interaction.
Basic workshop programs are included in tuition fees. However, additional fees may be requested for workshops requiring special materials (e.g., ceramics, textiles) or workshops with external expert instructors. For detailed information, you can contact our workshop coordinator.
The robotics workshop is open to all students from Primary Year 2 onwards. Programs at different levels are offered according to age groups: LEGO Robotics for Primary, Arduino and Python for Middle School, and advanced programming and artificial intelligence projects for High School.
Yes, our students participate in national and international competitions. Regular participation in competitions is ensured in robotics, aviation, arts, and sports. Our students achieve significant success in these competitions.
Workshop introduction days are organized at the beginning of each academic year. Students can choose workshops according to their interests. Priority order is determined for workshops with capacity limitations. Students can also change workshops mid-term.

School Life

Information about daily school life, activities, trips, and social programs.

The school day usually starts at 08:30 and ends at 15:30. More flexible hours are applied for Preschool. There are breaks between lessons, lunch break, and workshop/club hours. Fridays are usually reserved for extracurricular activities.
Yes, educational and cultural trips appropriate for age groups are organized for each level. Museums, science centers, historical sites, nature trips, and international trips (for high school) are planned. All trips are conducted within the framework of security protocols.
Healthy and balanced lunch meals prepared by a professional kitchen team are served at our school. Menus are checked by a dietitian and special dietary requirements (vegetarian, allergies, etc.) are met. Meal fees are not included in tuition fees.
Yes, safe and comfortable transportation service is provided. Transportation routes are determined according to student density and vehicles equipped with security cameras are used. Transportation fees are determined monthly and are not included in tuition fees.
Yes, regular community service projects are carried out to develop our students' social responsibility awareness. Nursing home visits, environmental protection projects, book collection campaigns, and volunteer work are organized. These projects are part of the IB CAS program.
Modern classrooms, science laboratories, library, sports hall, open and closed playgrounds, dining hall, workshop areas, art studios, music rooms, and technology classrooms are available. Our campus is designed to meet all student needs.
